Citizenship Classes

Through a partnership with UNCG Center for New North Carolinians and a grant from USCIS NAI provides US Citizenship classes. The classes are free but the textbook cost is $30. Classes are offered at a variety of times and locations. Online classes are also available several times a year.

To participate students must have a Permanent Resident Card and apply for citizenship within 6 months of taking the class. Potential students need to be able to communicate at least some in English and intake, including pre-testing, must be completed before starting classes. Students who do not meet the minimum level of English will be referred to English classes.

For more information about the Citizenship classes please contact our Citizenship Coordinator Juliet Biemiller at  jbiemiller@newarrivalsinstitute.com or call at 336-525-5340.
